1. What is this notice for?
Under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), Sönmez Mühendislik, as data controller, has prepared this notice to inform visitors to this website and people who contact us through the contact form about the processing of their personal data.
2. Which personal data is processed?
When you fill in the form on the contact page, we receive the following information: full name, phone number, email address, project location (if provided) and the information you share in your message. No personal data is collected unless you fill in the form; no visitor tracking, advertising cookies or analytics are used.
3. Why is your data processed?
The information you share is processed solely to evaluate your enquiry, contact you about your project and provide the information or quotation you request. It is never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis
Your personal data is processed under Article 5(2) of the KVKK on the legal grounds that processing is "directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract" and is "necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject".
5. Who is your data shared with?
The contact form is processed through a third-party service provider (FormSubmit) that forwards form submissions to us by email; the information you submit is delivered directly to the data controller’s email address through this service. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when you view the page. Other than this, your data is not shared with any third party.
6. Cookies
This site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. We do not knowingly create any cookies or local storage entries in your browser.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it if so; to learn whether it is used for its intended purpose; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction; and to request that these actions be notified to the parties to whom the data was transferred.
