The renovation of the Mannesmann pipe factory in İzmit brought the existing industrial facility up to modern production standards.
When refurbishing an existing factory, keeping production running and the existing structure's ability to carry new equipment and crane loads are assessed together. For a plant in the Marmara seismic belt, assessing seismic performance to the current code is also an important part of the project.
