Sönmez Mühendislik prepares structural (reinforced concrete, steel, timber), electrical, mechanical and infrastructure design projects, delivers BIM structural and MEP modelling with Autodesk Revit, and provides project management.
How long has the company been operating?
Backed by the experience of Sönmez HOS Grup, founded in 1995, the company has worked in engineering and project management for more than 30 years.
Where is your office and where do you work?
Our head office is at Küçükbakkalköy Mahallesi, Yanardağ Sokak No:15, Ataşehir, Istanbul. We have delivered projects across Türkiye and abroad (Iraq, Libya, Ghana, Congo).
What types of projects do you work on?
We have experience in education, healthcare, housing, office, industrial, technology, car park and data centre projects. Selected work is shown on our Projects page.
Do you work with BIM and Revit?
Yes. We provide structural, electrical and mechanical modelling in Revit, LOD 350 multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection and model-based quantity take-off.
Do you carry out seismic assessment and retrofitting of existing buildings?
Yes. We prepare seismic performance assessments and retrofitting projects for existing buildings, as well as structural restoration projects for historic buildings.
How large is your team?
We work with a team of more than 50 specialists across engineering disciplines.
